Does God's Will For Immigration Stay Is Personal To Us And Our Family?

I Should Leave By Giving Up Everything Or Stay?

Question : We are under attack by the British authority, as they question my right to be in England. I am Italian and have been here since 1981. When I first became a Christian I was give Isaiah 41: 9 to 11, we now know that we are the wilderness church, but we can no longer believe in the promises God made to protect and fight on our behalf, as the British people have shown us much hatred and hostility over the past 18 years, we know that God has defended us in the past but we do not have the faith to believe anymore in his promises. Do you think we should just give up on everything and leave?

Answer : Praise the Lord! Greetings to you in Jesus name! God says in His Word, "26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, 27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’" (Acts 17:26-28).  In the above verse we see that God has individually marked the boundaries of the nations of the world, and the people who will be born and die in it or immigrate to other countries, so that in their lifetime on earth they could be able to seek by groping for Him and find the Lord their Creator to become a friend with Him for eternity ahead. From this we can deduce that God has a perfect place for you to live in His Presence in the perfect will of God that He has foreplanned for you and your family already. So just make sure by seeking the Lord that you are in His perfect will for your life and family. Running to greener pastures might not be always right especially when you are tested by God spiritually like He tested Lot who was Abraham's accomplice and Lot failed God's test miserably (Gen 13:7-10). While Lot chose for himself greener pastures in spite of knowing the moral bankruptcy, exceeding wicked and sinful life of godless people living in it who were all living a lifestyle against the Lord, Abraham by faith trusted in the prosperity of being in the will of God to stay in the place where God has told him to rather than in where he wanted to naturally stay by his own decision apart from God (Gen 13:11-13). To stay in the will of God is more important spiritually, than to choose to enjoy some temporal comfort that might become a stumbling block to our eternal blessing of ecstasy and life of joy with God.

"Stand firm against him [i.e. the Devil and his evil demons], and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are." (1 Peter 5:9, NLT). In your strength you cannot fight the battle, let go and let God do the talking on your behalf. Just say to the Lord, 'I know all things are under your control, whatever is your will for my life and family, I give in to your hand. Take control of it all and lead my way and strengthen me to do your will for my life. In Jesus Name! AMEN.' Here is the promise that God has given to you and your are holding by faith, " 9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest regions, and said to you, ‘ You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away: 10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ 11 “ Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. " (Isa 41:9-11). O what a wonderful promise God has given to you, it is more a reality of God's help that you can depend on in this crisis that you are going through than it has even been.

Do not be discouraged, hold on to that promise He has given you personally. If you do not lose heart, the rewards are much greater than you can imagine in this earth and also in the life to come (Heb 10:35-36). I would tell you to tell all this problems you have to God and wait for a time in His Presence, as you have prayed the above prayer, God will give you peace supernaturally and after that do not resist anything or claim your rights for defense as God peace in your heart ensures that God will fight on your behalf and He will lead you in His perfect will (1 Peter 5:7; Php 4:6-7; 1 Peter 2:18-25; Rom 13:1-7). Let go of yourself and let God! The earth is the Lord's and everything in it, the Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace (Psa 24:1; Exod 14:14). It is not a passive decision when we give in to the will of God, it is the most active and wise decision we can take on this side of eternity because it puts the Lord and His power to fight and work on our behalf and be in control of every problems we are facing in our life. Having said all of it, meditate upon these above promises and allow the Lord to speak to you. Once you understand the will of God, no matter how hard you may feel in the natural, by supernatural strength from above, give in to it and keep standing on the will of God for your life (Rom 12:1-2). Because later in your life you will come to understand, how the will of God has impacted your life for eternity, and have blessed you and your family to be effective agents in the Kingdom of God (Matt 6:33; Mark 10:29-30).

If it is God's will that you should leave, I would tell that you would be more blessed than ever to leave and stay where God leads you in His will. Cause the Canaan is a land that looks towards heaven for its sustenance as there are no Nile to depend on, but God makes milk and honey to flow in it not because of its natural ability to produce, but because where His Presence is, that is where Canaan really is (Deut 11:8-15). So I pray that the Lord might strengthen your heart to do His will for your life (Psa 31:24; 1 Thess 3:13).

Much Blessings....
